Displeased like hiccups
We admonish our parents
For making simple love
A complex equation
That like a child
Grasping around new words
Is difficult for them to understand;
When the same love
The same spirit
Appear like a homosexual fairy
We shout,
‘You and I have nothing in common’
And walk off
Forgetting our wooden ax;
Don’t we let butterflies sing?
Don’t we let the orange hues
Paint our mornings?
Why do we turn a deaf ear
To shy rainbow sheep
Wanting to join the school again
Only colorful?
